Palm Pre supposed to be closer to traditional Linux than Android

As you can read here, it seems that based on initial analysis the Palm Pre seems to be closer to what mainline Linux is doing that Android. That's not really surprising, but still definitely great to hear.

I can't wait to get my hands on the actual source code. If anyone has seen the written offer as provided by Palm, please forward me the contact information indicated in it so I can request the source code.

If anyone already has their complete corresponding source code (as per GPL), please upload to ftp://ftp.gpl-devices.org/incoming (write-only) and drop me an e-mail.
